Old Columban Timothy Brownlow has presented a copy of his latest book,
Hiding Places, to the College Library. It is a collection of personal and literary essays which are 'forays into what Wordsworth called the
hiding places of the creative impulse.' In the book, he writes frequently about Ireland, as well as his adopted home, Canada. Read more
here.
Tim retired in 2006 from
Malaspina University-College, and is now and Honorary Research Associate there. His books of poetry include
Poems for Clare and
Apples Under the Bed. This latest volume is dedicated to a former English teacher here, David Fitzgerald.
