'Ophelia Among the Flowers'

Here's the latest poem from the Images in Poetry module in Transition Year. Click here for more. This time, Harry Fitzgibbon has written a short poem prompted by Odilon Redon's 'Ophelia Among the Flowers':-

The red rose full with blood,
The blue flower of the butterfly,
The lady lying down asleep.

Dead or alive
In the water of her own dream.

The sky is full of yellow gold-lined cloud.
